with all of us things are going well as usual, missing Caleb a lot.
Caleb is doing pretty well, he went back to NY to get some things sorted and also to spend more time with his family. He will go back to Maryland to work and also get more things sorted - we seem to have a never ending task of getting things sorted, paper work, trying to work out what is best for the future and the continual question of "what if?" we will all be glad when we no longer have to ask the "what if" question and have a bit more certainty in our lives. But we keep trusting that it will be ok and with God we know that it will be ok. He does fulfill his promises to you.
Now finally we got her smiling on the photo!
You sleep together when you can.
sometimes the only way to get anything done is with Kate asleep on your arm, so you get really good at doing things one handed.
Here I was trying to get Kate laughing on camera, but this is the result that I got...
(Warning - no babies were harmed in the making of this movie!)
and after being cleaned up, and calmed down, it was once again time to sleep...

Hey Marlies! I got your blog address from Caleb - he attends the church I work at. Your pictures are SO awesome!!! I am amazed at how strong and positive and faithfilled you all are. I am not sure I would want to be away from my husband, especially with a baby!!! (We haven't been away from each other at all, actually, since we got married.) God is doing something fantastic in your lives and it will be such a testimony for y'all!!! :) Looking forward to meeting you and Kate when y'all come over the 'pond' :)
