Check ups

when we arrived we went and got Kate measured and weighed, and it lookes like she had bearly put on any weight and bearly grown since we had been in the US. We had been given instructions on what and when to feed her and that went pretty smoothly. Though she does not like bought premade food, which is totally understandable, she likes food with texture.
So yesterday we had another checkup too see if she has grown in the last 2 weeks (well as much as you can in 2 weeks) ANd she has so that is a great relief.

Here are some eating photos, at least she is a hearty eater and so far likes everything we give her(but from a jar...)
She can also drink from a bottle and a sippy cup all by herself - its so cute when she tips her head all the way back to get everything out.

Wedding

Corne and Yan tyed the knot yesterday - yeah. It was a lot of fun and a really beautiful day, I am glad that I could be back for it.

Kate also gave them a great day, I am so proud of her how she was, everyone thinks that she is the perfect child... well if they only knew - just kidding she is great.

nearly crawling...

Look at me, I am nearly crawling! Kate still has not figured out how to put her knees up under her, but she can use her feet to push herself foward, as long as there is something to push off from.

She will reach for anything she can.

It has been great being here and Kate has taken everything really well. we put a mirror in the play pen and she is really enjoying it - humm maybe an idea for back home...

We went to the american embassy and they did issue me the extended tourisim visa - yeah! so now just to get the rest done too. and it was really hot today, so we had a bit of a paddle in the pool when we got home, a lot of fun as you can see.
