First day of School

For the first time we are sending the kids to school instead of homeschooling. Admittedly a tough decision but it is the right one for our family at the moment.

Here is the first day of school, the girls were more then ready and so went the long walk down the driveway and waiting for the bus...

Here we are on the bus...

 Bye bye...

So now Jaylee and I get to play :) which means nap...

But we do get to do what we want and so that means biking! yay It is great to get out and enjoy the weather while we can and the exercise is great.

And more naps are great too....

So begins another new part in our lives, its amazing how things can change in an instant. But hey for anyone that know me that is something that I love (as long as the change is for the better)
But anyway the girls are having a blast and enjoy school.

Jaylee's hair

Jaylee's hair take 1....

Jaylee's hair take 2....

Yes she cut her own hair - but I have to say she did it in a way that could not be any cuter...
bye bye baby curls :(

Clemens Family

The whole family came for a visit, Kirsten came to pick up June and so Severin and the family also came for a visit. It was great to have the whole family here at the same time.

Summer fest was happening in Denton so we got in some summer fun.

We got out the pool so the kids had fun there...

While everyone was in we celebrated a few Birthdays - Caleb and Kirsten, as well as celebrating Bill's 60th a month early. So for all that we had to have a Pinata of course!

Family photos were a must so we did our best, I am afraid that I could not get the lighting and the angle right so I added them all and that way everyone looks good on at least one of the photos ;)

Cake time!

It was truly a blessing to have the whole family together, hopefully it will not be another few years for it to happen again...

more 6 flags...

Ok you are probably sick of the 6 flags photos by now but there are a few cute ones in here that I could not resist....

 And just a few random...

Summer camps and stuff

VBS was fantastic - the church put on a great event and the girls had a blast.

Swim lessons for Anna, Kate and Jaylee went well this year, Kate can swim the length of the pool with ease and Anna was able to venture off on her own, I am so proud!

British Soccer camp. The girls did really well and really improved their game a lot.
June did it too so it was nice for all of them to be at a camp together.
June wore the dutch flag representing the mother land.

Caleb and I even managed to get away away for the 4th of July. It was really nice to be able to get away. It was a real 'blast' ;)
