Here are a few photos to keep you going, she seems to have had another growth spert.




When she gets put on her mat to be changed then she looks back at the light, she loves it and even pokes her tongue out at the bee.

Here is an example of when she just laughs at us making fools of ourselves trying to get her to copy us.

As I said before she is starting to copy what you do, and we managed to get it on video - before you know it she will be talking, OK give or take a few months... turn up the volume!



Also we went to a wedding today and so we both got dressed up as you can see below, Kate looks real cute in a skirt (please ignore what I said below about the clothes, I was just stressing about things that I should not, and as abundantly God supplied all Kate's needs, with any future kids He will too!)

When we poke out our tongue to Kate then she is starting to do it back - which is real cute, she is so smart...

look I'm growing!

Yesterday Kate had a checkup and her first vaccination shot.
she is growing really well, she is now 5.2 kilos and 59 1/2 cm so that is really great!
They were really happy with how she looked and was growing, she does have permission to drink more - or more often which I don't think she will complain about that.
Her skin is a little sensitive and she has a bad case of 'berg' on her scalp, but it is normal and will go away in due time, it does not help that the air is very dry at the moment.

Kate loves to be massaged with baby oil - though i also use vasaline because it has no smell and it is good for her dry skin.



Look I can even feed myself!

Also I wanted to thank everyone that has bought Kate clothes, they are all great and it means that Kate actually had a choice of clothes - and the rate that she pooped and threw up she actually had something to change into ;) - just a thought, for future reference, please send clothes that are for both a boy and a girl, that way if we have a boy we don't have to shop from scratch (yes OK we are planning on having more then one child for those that feel like being smart...) nice bright colors are always great.
Though Kate does always look really cute - especially while laughing as seen above.

Thank you all for your prayers and support, they mean everything to us - especially all your prayers as we are still trying to get a hold of what needs to be done for our future and what to do best for our family.

Talk about an intense year! This coming year also holds lots of excitement, at least we can say that we do not have a boring life.
with all of us things are going well as usual, missing Caleb a lot.
Caleb is doing pretty well, he went back to NY to get some things sorted and also to spend more time with his family. He will go back to Maryland to work and also get more things sorted - we seem to have a never ending task of getting things sorted, paper work, trying to work out what is best for the future and the continual question of "what if?" we will all be glad when we no longer have to ask the "what if" question and have a bit more certainty in our lives. But we keep trusting that it will be ok and with God we know that it will be ok. He does fulfill his promises to you.

You sleep together when you can.


sometimes the only way to get anything done is with Kate asleep on your arm, so you get really good at doing things one handed.


Here I was trying to get Kate laughing on camera, but this is the result that I got...

and after being cleaned up, and calmed down, it was once again time to sleep...
