Pop Pop's bday

Pop Pop turned 88 a few weeks ago - I know trying to catch up with the blog. :)

At home

Now that the weather is improving we can play outside - and upstairs more. (upstairs its the same temp as outside as it needs to be insulated)


We made a house with the empty moving boxes upstairs



And we have been able to fly a kite outside, we get lots of wind here which will be great to help keep us cool in the summer - which also makes great kite flying weather.

Purim celebration

A family from church organized a Purim Celebration. That is the party from way back from Queen Esther and how God used her to save the Jews back in the day...
It was a new experience for us, it involved songs, the story itself - very interactive and of course you had to dress up as a old testament character. I was Miriam and I have to say it was really hard to think what to do for the girls so they ended up being modern princesses - the pink and purple... And it ended with a parade.

At the Park

Anna loves to climb and is as yet fearless of heights..

We went for a walk around the track past the river, Jaylee loves to walk as much as she can.

June had a Pinata for her birthday, but she waited till the family was all together to open it, here you see them enjoying the spoils on Grandma and Pepa's new balcony.












The video I took of actually hitting the Pinata did not really work for the blog...















Jaylee is now facing to the front, 'so big' awake on the way there, asleep on the way back - or Kate trying to pretend she is asleep...

Big Birthdays

We had 2 big birthdays this last week...

Rowan just turned 1 - we were sorry to miss the party but I can tell from the photos they had lots of fun...

June turned 13 this week - She is now officially a teenager! Wow I can't believe it. Your awesome June!
