Summer fun

Well we have had lots of fun this summer so far - though it has been very hot... but when you get over that and actually get out there its not to bad...



Grandpa / Pop Pop has moved down to live with Bill and Audrey, so great that we get to be with him more often now - its great to have you with us Pop Pop

Jaylee 6 month

Jaylee is now 6 months... she just hadd her 6 month check up. She is doing really well, being 13.2lbs she is still in the 15 - 20 % for her age, so still very small. but following her growth chart very well. the doctor also said she had great leg strength. cool.


She has also started eating solids, so we are busy getting used to what she likes, and that is if she does not fall asleep while eating...

Massanutten

Groot Opa, Opa, Oma and us 5 went away to a place called Massanutten, its a holiday resort and it was lots of fun, very relaxing and just what we needed.deff something that we will repeat in the future...

LAND!

Wow we finally did it! we bought land! we will start building hopefully in the next week or 2, we are just waiting on what they call a 911 address (street number) and then we can start building, hopefully any day now. you will get plenty of photos and updates about that. But yeah! its a perfect 3 acres in the middle of farm land, great distance from church, Caleb's work and Grandma and Grandpa.

here are some photos of the land itself. The group of flags you see is where the house is going to go and the one flag on the right towards the road in the video is where our property starts. we are the 3rd piece of land in.

Below is the exact type of house that we are building, same windows and everything only different colors our house will be yellow with a charcoal roof, with white framing and dark blue accents. don't worry its going to be great. Just to give you an idea of what to expect.

Visitors

Groot Opa, Opa and Oma, Karsten (a cousin from nz) all came to visit - and all at the same time, so we celebrated Groot Opa's 90th birthday, Oma's 60th and birthday Anna's 2nd birthday. the only way to do that was with a good bbq.
It was so awesome that Groot Opa could come visit, it was a real honor and I am so happy he got to meet 2 more great grand children, and they got to meet him. It was really great.
Also really great that Opa and Oma could come, Opa got to meet Jaylee and also that Karsten could come and meet the whole family, and he got to see Opa again.
