 As our yearly tradition now is, we went pumpkin picking again, got the traditional photos in tunnel and went in the corn maze, it was a lot of fun!

The swing/play set is already half up, the girls play on it for hours.

 The local wildlife...
Kate  decided to draw some sock monkeys, from memory too - I am really impressed. She has been doing really well with her school work, and slowly getting better at her letters too, as you can see she on the picture.

 June has been playing soccer and is doing really well.. .
A while ago I lost Anna, I realized she had been quiet for too long and then I could not find her, till I found her in our bed, she decided to go to for a nap it seems, And when she woke up she came out of the room with a big smile, she thought it was really funny.

The garden

 

This year I had my first real vegetable garden, and enjoyed it,

whoever would have thought that I would find it so much fun. 

 While Opa was here, he helped me a lot in the garden, I really enjoyed working together with him and I really appreciated the help - thanks Opa

 Some of the produce I managed to harvest, carrots, broccoli, watermelon, beans, peppers.

 I used a double set of gloves for these peppers, its all we have left. they are now dried and made into pepper flakes.

It was a good first time experiment, now I have a good idea what to grow next year, what works or not, when to sow the seeds and the fact that the soil needs a lot more fertilizer to help it grow, it was the poorest soil known to man... looking forward to it again next year.

Severin and Lisa's wedding

Last weekend Severin and Lisa got married, it was great to be a part of their wedding, a real blessing.
It was absolutly beautiful  location, perfect. And Lisa looked stunning.

Caleb was the best man and Kate was a flower girl, which she loved. All 3 girls danced most of the night with everyone as you can tell in the photos below. I know of some photos that were taken that turned out really well that I have yet to get, so I will add them as I get them. 





The weekend was pretty long for the girls so you can imagine the last photo was the scene most of the way home. :)
